"Diputación de Alicante" gave in the last month two important grants to the town of Busot.

The first project, which Diputación will be make directly, is already in progress, and consists of the enlargement and asphalting of the Cuevas de Canelobre road. This road is 18 years old and has a lot of traffic.

The Mayor, Alejandro Morant, and the Tourism Councilman, said that "this is very important work that will continue improve our Tourist image. The people who come to visit us will have better memories of their visit". The Mayor also added that "all the town of Busot thanks the big help and support that Diputación Provincial gives to our town, and especially to his president José Joaquín Ripoll and the "exdiputado" Carlos Mazón.

This work cost about 450,000 euros and its expected to start very soon and will be finished in about two months.

On the other hand, the town of Busot received a grant of 96,000 euros to pay the 80% of the cost of the new Social Center in Hoya de los Patos.

This work will cost 120,000 euros, and, as the Mayor said, "very soon we're going to contract the works and we hope that it ends in august. In this month the urbanization celebrates its Summer Festival, and it's a good time to open the Center.

The Social Center will have 100 useful metres and a terrace with about 100 metres more, it will have a capacity for 80 people.
