The Municipal Sport’s School is now in it’ssecond trimester. A positive evaluation can be observed at this moment in its development. At this time during the year, more than 60 people participate in the municipal tennis classes. These numbers were unthinkable a few years ago,there were only 6 participants at its beginnings.

Thanks to support from the Town Hall, which took great effort in improvements to the tennis installations, the participation has increased to its current numbers.

The artificial turf has caused an increase in the number of patrons and the continuation of the MuncipalLeague, making this sport and the salon football the most practiced in the town.

The more than 60 people participating in tennis are divided into eight groups according to age and playing level, starting with two pre-tennis groups (from 5 to 7 years old), two initiation level groups for children between 8 and 12 years old, one advanced level for children, one initiation level for the women’s group, a mixed initiation adults group, and the last group for adults working on perfecting their game.

Additionally, the IV League of municipal tennis leads us to believe that great things are happening in municipal sports. There are 16 adults playing for the title. They are in the first phase no eliminatory where they will be paired for the final phase. We should stress the paper that has been played by newcomer Oscar Morant, the only one who has been undefeated with 6 out of 6; he hasn’t lost even one set. He has played in the violet group with one of the all-time favourites J.J.

Morant “Cucki”. In the green group Werner stands out as a veteran champion; he plays at a high level and leads his group along with Salva Llinares, able to carry out incredible plays. We look forward to the final phase, it should be most interesting!
